Cafe at the Opera, Salt's Mill

We had spent the morning buying a car in Bradford, so went for lunch to Salt's Mill. We've been before and love to browse the modern kitchen wares that are for sale there as well as the art. The Cafe in the Opera is the smaller of the two main cafes, and it tends to specialise in fish. I can't resist whitebait if I see it on a menu, Mary thinks much the same about fish soup. The soup promised much with its look and aroma, but (only) just failed to live up to it. It was still nice though. The whitebait was excellent, served with a bowl of fries and a well dressed salad it made a really nice lunch.
