Messy dish of noodles

This just shows that good UK chefs can't necessarily do the cuisine of other cultures very well. Any chinese takeaway chef could have made this a delight. Some oyster sauce and sesame oil, or something like that, and it would have been fine. Instead, it was bland and not really worth eating. The fish would have been better with some elegant potato accompaniment. The restaurant was in Derby.
